Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Dairy Production Science
Daniel works on sustainable livestock production systems. He has broad research interests, highlighting his work in the evaluation of herbage management and sustainability, herbage production and quality aspects, mixed swards species dynamics, and nitrogen fixation. He has also investigated animal-related aspects, such as beef cattle weaning techniques, cattle behavior and welfare, cattle herbage utilization and supplementation, rumen function, methane emissions, feed efficiency, milk production, and quality.
