Principal Research Scientist
Fabio’s main objective is to manage and lead innovation proposals that increase the sustainability (social, environmental, and economic) of livestock producers and their surroundings. These proposals should be demand-oriented (both domestic and international) with a supply chain perspective through public-private partnerships. The goal is to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality (intrinsic and extrinsic), differentiation and added value of livestock products within a framework that respects the environment, food safety, animal welfare, and the cultural values of the producers and their families, as well as society.
